Lights, camera, recession

Yacht rentals are down, the more lavish parties have been cancelled, and the business of buying and selling films has a leaner edge at this year's Cannes film festival. Stephanie West reports.

Cannes (Reuters)

Among those battling it out for the main prize are films about Eric Cantona and Woodstock, and Quentin Tarantino's take on the second world war.

For the first time, the festival's opening film is in 3D.
