In this modern survival series, two groups of ordinary people enter an abandoned town, each unaware of the other's existence. With no electricity, water, or food, can they live through the Apocalypse, and how will they compete with each other to survive?  Surrounded by the remnants of modern life, the survivors must recycle, reuse and reinvent anything of use to improve their lives. With limited resources the Westside group soon find themselves in direct conflict with their Eastside counterparts when the Eastside are first to break into the town's only supermarket and loot all its contents. A cross section of society - including a mechanic, paramedic, farmer and a social media influencer - must discover whether reverting to primitive human behaviour will be what it takes to make it through the Apocalypse, or whether cooperation is the key to survival.
