SERIES SYNOPSIS

When Fran is accused of being Alice Bell, a serial killer’s lover and Britain’s most hated woman now hiding under a new identity, her family’s happy life implodes in a wave of mob hate. But then Fran discovers that she’s not alone. There are others. Fran and the other accused women band together to fight back against the mobs and internet trolls. But as they battle to prove their innocence, a proclamation from the serial killer himself, Dr. Jason Nash, casts doubt over the women. What if one of the group is lying and is the real Alice Bell...?

EPISODE ONE (MISTAKEN IDENTITY)

Fran Da Silva’s ordinary life is blown apart when a sudden act of vandalism marks the beginning of something far more unsettling than random trouble.

Online whispers quickly turn into accusations. Strangers and colleagues start looking at Fran differently. Could she truly be Britain’s Most Hated woman? Alice Bell was the lover of serial killer Dr. Jason Nash. She falsified evidence and let his killing streak continue. And now people think Fran is her.

As Fran struggles to understand why she’s become a target, she learns that she’s not alone. There are other women. And it’s time for them to clear their name.

EPISODE TWO (STRONGER TOGETHER)

Fran finds solace in meeting the other woman. What begins as a cautious meeting between strangers quickly grows into an unexpected source of strength and solidarity. It’s clear that the consequences of viral misinformation run deep.

Meanwhile, the conspiracy surrounding Alice Bell continues to gather momentum led by the hateful voice of True Crime Buster. But little do they know; the anonymous online troll is close to Dr Jason Nash and willing to do his bidding.

When opportunity comes knocking for a TV interview, the women take their first steps toward standing together. But they quickly learn that unity may provide their greatest protection, or their biggest risk.

EPISODE THREE (ONE OF US)

As public attention intensifies, the women find themselves living under an increasingly unforgiving spotlight. Heading to a Women’s Conference in Dublin, suspicion begins to turn inwards and a stark message from serial killer Dr. Jason Nash himself threatens to expose it all.

Meanwhile, the movement surrounding the mystery continues to evolve, fuelled by influencers, viral media, and competing versions of the truth. Public opinion grows louder. Within the group itself, small doubts and unspoken suspicions emerge.

Determined to regain control of the narrative, Fran starts searching for answers beyond headlines and hashtags. As new information comes to light, the question haunting everyone becomes impossible to ignore: What if Alice Bell has been hiding in plain sight?

EPISODE FOUR (TRUTH & LIES)

The fallout from the Alice Bell scandal deepens and the fragile alliance between the women begins to fracture as new revelations force everyone to question how well they truly know one another.

Fran struggles to hold her family together as media attention refuses to fade. Fran and Nick attempt to get to the root of these accusations, but it means spying on one of their own.

Meanwhile, Jay gets closer to Charlotte as she airs her own suspicions and Dr Nash promises a live stream to end any doubt and name the real Alice Bell. As the countdown ticks down, the women are left watching in fear and worry.

EPISODE FIVE (THINGS FALL APART)

As accusations continue to escalate, Fran and the rest of the ‘Alice Bell’ women face a crossroads. Trust each other and stand together or crumble from within.

Graham Hunter exposes the backgrounds of each woman leading to further speculation and questions still remain as to who attacked Dr Nash.

Now seemingly viewed as “Public Enemies Number One”, Fran and the other women debate how to take back control of the narrative. After Vanessa proposes a daring appearance at the Best of Britain Awards, Fran and the other woman prepare for a showdown. But before they get there, the cracks widen in the group with suspicion pointing inward. Can they really trust one another?

EPISODE SIX (MISTAKEN IDENTITY)

As the storm surrounding the true identity of Alice Bell finally reaches its breaking point, the lives of everyone caught in the controversy begin to change in ways none of them can control as they attempt to move forward from their shared trauma, reckoning with the secrets, guilt, and choices that brought them together in the first place.

Meanwhile public attention begins to shift as one of the women is labelled and ‘outed’ as Alice Bell. But true closure proves elusive. As new details emerge, long buried secrets refuse to stay hidden and the line between victim and villain becomes increasingly blurred, leaving everyone to decide what forgiveness, and accountability, really mean.
