Mulled Cider Punch

750 Merry Down Original Cider

50ml Fire by Johnnie Walker

200ml apple juice

50ml Honey or Maple Syrup

1 thumb of ginger, cut into strips

Peel of 1 orange

4 whole cloves

2 cinnamon sticks, broken in half


Bring all ingredients together in a pan, cover and bring to the most gentle of simmers. Do not let boil.

Around 15minutes should do.

Once the flavour is bright and aromatic, strain liquid with a sieve into a punch bowl and enjoy

Garnish each glass with a sprig of Lemon Thyme

Great warming drink for flasks or parties!

Mince Pie Manhatten

50ml *Mince Pie infused Yellowstone Select Bourbon

20ml Belsazar Vermouth Red sweet Vermouth

Dash Peychauds Bitters (or play around with other aromatic or fruity bitters)

*Infuse by pouring 500ml of Bourbon into a jar with 200g of quality mince meat. Leave for 2 days at room temperature or warm airing cupboard. Once the flavour has infused, fine strain the liquid to use in the cocktail. Keep refrigerated and use within 14 days. Discard/enjoy the booze infused mince meat!


To serve cold - Shake with ice, strain and serve

To serve hot – Add everything to a pan and gently heat. Add to your flask and enjoy on a cold winters walk.

25ml Don Julio Anejo

75ml sparkling lemonade

50ml Warninks Advocaat

15ml of lime juice

Build in a highball, over ice

Garnish with a dusting of nutmeg.
