725ml whole milk

2 x 50g measures of sugar

1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

40g corn flour

3 large egg yolks

approx. 50g of 100s & 1000s


1. Put the milk, 50g sugar and vanilla in a pan, bring to a simmer

2. In a bowl whisk the yolks, sugar and corn flour

3. Gradually add the milk mix to this, whisking constantly

4. Put back in the pan, bring slowly to the boil

5. Strain into a bowl, put cling film on the surface (don’t wrap) chill 2 hours

6. Fold in the sprinkles, spoon into lolly moulds (proper shape ones). Add sticks

7. Freeze until solid

8. Nice to serve with melted choc to dip into
