12 king prawns, shell off tail on

Oil to brush

30g Old Bay seasoning

50ml melted butter

Aioli – 3 cloves garlic, crushed

2 yolks

1 tbs Dijon

300ml good quality olive oil

Juice 1 lemon

1 tsp turmeric

Garnish with more lemon and furikake mix


1. Toss the prawns in oil, season with half the old bay and griddle for 3 mins each side until well charred.

2. Toss in the melted butter, rest of the old bay and lemon.

3. Aioli – whisk the mustard, yolks, turmeric and garlic. Gradually add the oil, finish with lemon.

4. Put a spoonful of aioli on each plate, sit 3 prawns on top, then sprinkle with furikake mix.
