Serves 6

3 eggs

75g golden caster sugar

75g self raising flour

additional icing sugar and drinking choc to dust

filling – 75g nutella

100g crushed roasted hazelnuts

50g choc chips

150ml cream

150g mascarpone


1. Whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy

2. Fold in the flour and spoon onto a well greased, lined tin (23 x 30cm)

3. Cook at 200c for 7-10 mins until springy to the touch

4. Turn out onto another piece of paper

5. Filling – spread the Nutella onto the roll, then the cream

6. Sprinkle on the choc and nuts, roll over, then repeat until fully rolled and all the rasps are used up

7. Dust with icing sugar and choc
