450g minced pork

2 cloves garlic

1 finely diced onion

3 diced carrots

100g finely sliced green cabbage

15ml soy

5g chilli flakes

15ml fish sauce

about 30 spring roll wrappers

oil to deep fry


100ml cider vinegar

100ml water

200g sugar

50g tomato ketchup

5g chilli flakes

5g garlic powder

(thicken with cornflour)


1. Fry the pork, remove

2. Do the same with veg. Add pork, mix well, chill

3. Place about 75g filling on the diagonal of each wrapper. Roll up and tuck in, seal with water

4. Deep fry for 6 minutes, drain

5. Sauce – boil the vinegar, sugar, water for 5 minutes. Cool slightly, whisk in everything

6. Serve with the lumpia
