Makes 15-18 cookies


125g butter

100g icing sugar

1 vanilla pod

1 yolk

100g melted dark choc

150g flour (sifted)

25g cocoa powder

200g dulche de leche

Serve with fromage frais, choc shavings and strawberries


1. Whisk butter and sugar for 5 full minutes

2. Fold in vanilla, yolk and choc

3. Finally add flour and cocoa. Wrap and chill for 30 minutes

4. Make 15-18 balls and place on a lined baking tray

5. Press your thumb in the center of each to make a hole

6. Bake for 12-14 minutes at 180°C, cool

7. Now spoon dulche de leche into the hole and dip into fromage frais
