Ingredients
125ml milk
60g butter
160g sugar
150g flour
1 tsp baking powder
100g cocoa powder
160g dark brown sugar
50g sesame seeds
70g red miso paste
500ml boiling water
serve with crème fraiche and fruits
Method
1. heat the butter and milk until the butter has melted
2. take off the heat and beat in the flour, baking powder, sugar and half the cocoa.
3. Spoon this into a greased and sugared 1.5ltr dish (soufflé style)
4. Mix the brown sugar, rest of cocoa and sesame seeds. Spoon on top of choc mix
5. Pour the boiling water onto the miso, mix until smooth
6. Pour onto the pud
7. Bake at 180C for about 40 minutes
8. Cool for 5 minutes – serve with a good dollop of crème fraiche
