Are you a disability confident employer?

What is the main goal of your organisation?

Disability Confident is a scheme designed to help employers recruit, retain and develop people with disabilities and health conditions.

Being Disability Confident could help you discover someone that your business just can’t do without.

How can a person or organisation get involved or participate?

Organisations of all sizes can sign up to Disability Confident online for free.

Membership gives practical support, and access to a community of Confident employers willing to share best practice and advice. It also signals that your company believes in open and inclusive recruitment.

The scheme has three different levels, so you can begin your Disability Confident journey at a place that’s right for your organisation.

What words of encouragement would you give to a disabled person looking to find success in the workplace?

Disability Confident employers are a great place to start if you're looking to get in and get on in work. By signing up to the scheme, they've already made and publicised a clear intention to recruit fairly, provide adjustments where necessary and generally make sure everyone can thrive in their workplace.

And if your company, or one you'd like to work for, isn’t Confident yet, ask them why, and point out that they could be missing out on a lot of talent.
