Hi, guys! Pete makes an appearance this week, what happened the last time we saw him?

Kai - The last time we saw Pete, he was found guilty of sexually abusing Cleo McQueen, who was underage at the time.

Has Pete changed since we last saw him?

Kai - Pete is a very dark and manipulating character. Those are his default settings, so when Joel threatens him, those defects come out. He spots weakness and capitalises on it.

Rory - Pete is a terrifying character and quickly changes his ‘feeling sorry for himself’ act, by ramping up the pressure!

How strange was it for Pete and Joel to meet each other?

Rory - It was really strange! After hearing so much about him over the past couple of years, it was quite an anticipated meeting between both of the characters, which I’m sure the audience will find thrilling.

Kai - When Pete discovers it’s Cleo’s fiancé, he immediately thinks of Cleo and his mind begins to work overtime. Who is this man? What does he want? Is he a direct threat?

Rory – I’d also like to say that I really enjoyed working with Kai, and I learned so much from him. A genuinely lovely man, fantastic actor, and all round good guy!

Do either of you think Pete feels any remorse?

Rory - Who knows? There’s elements of his character that you want to believe, but then again, he’s a master manipulator, and anything he says you have to take with a pinch of salt. He is not a nice man.

Kai - I still think Pete feels he did nothing wrong, which in itself is terrible. He is wired this way, these are his thoughts. He needs serious help.

How much did the abuse affect Cleo’s life?

Kai – Sadly, the facts are there, and although lives are rebuilt and people move on from these events, the scars will run deep. Luckily, there are some amazing professionals out there to help heal those affected.

Rory - Joel, personally believes that Pete is at the centre of all of Cleo’s issues. That’s why he’s visiting him in the first place. You’ll have to wait and see what happens next week, but the audience will love and hate it all at the same time.

Kai, how was it to be back filming for Hollyoaks?

Kai – I loved my time on the show. The cast, crew, and the whole building are full of lovely down to earth, hardworking, and genuine people.

Rory, Joel and Cleo’s wedding is coming up, can you tell us a little bit about that?

Rory - The wedding was such a bizarre thing to film for a couple of reasons. I was getting married to Nadine, my girlfriend in real life… Which was nothing short of terrifying! Also, we shot everything twice, the reality and Cleo’s ‘reality’. It was a bit mind-bending to begin with, but we got into the rhythm of it, and a very long day has definitely paid off. Nadine is unbelievable in this special episode! She really is a star.

How will Joel's meeting with Pete turn out? Tune in to Hollyoaks this week at 7pm on E4 to find out!
