We’ve all come across military drones on the news, but we’re not far away from such things being a part of our everyday lives. Companies are looking into them for everything from delivering parcels to working in hospitals.

The two people KG met – Sally-Anne French, a drone journalist, and Daniel Lang, inventor of a submarine drone – were keen to talk about the exciting possibilities of using drones for journalism and exploration.

While some may welcome more automation, many others are worried about their jobs. After all, why have a postman when a drone will never call in sick or go on strike? On top of the job worries, many people worry about the potential for drones to commit crime or invade privacy.
