Impartiality

Elections and referendums fall within the definition of "Major Matters", see 'Due Impartiality, Due Accuracy and Undue Prominence of Views & Opinions' and, therefore, the Impartiality rules apply, that is reporting must be duly impartial, programmes or clearly-linked programmes must include and give due weight to an appropriately wide range of significant views and views and facts must not be misrepresented.
