Health and Safety

Producers are responsible for compliance with Health and Safety legislation on their productions. Before execution of the Commissioning Agreement producers  must produce to the Channel drafts of appropriate Health and Safety policies and operational procedures in connection with the production of the Programme(s) . These must include addressing the elimination or mitigation of any risks to the production arising from Covid 19. Producers must read both the Channel 4 Covid 19 Filming Guidelines and the joint broadcaster document  “TV Production Guidance: Managing the Risk of Covid-19 in Production Making" when  drafting your production Health and Safety policies and operational procedures. These guideline documents will assist you in drafting your Health and Safety policies and operational procedures.
