After nearly 20 years away, Channel 4 is going live from Lock Keeper’s Cottages in East London for a very special one-off edition of the seminal morning entertainment show The Big Breakfast.
Mo Gilligan and AJ Odudu host the live two-hour special joined by a mix of famous guests to kick start the day with a bang.
Newsreader Phil Gayle will return to deliver the morning’s headlines, Melvin Odoom will be out on the streets somewhere in the UK where one viewer will be playing for prizes on their doorstep, Judi Love will be getting personal as on the bed interviewer, and Munya Chawawa will be offering the alternative news as Barty Crease.
There will be fresh new features alongside some nostalgic Big Breakfast classics including Family of the Week, Super Hints, One Lump or Two and Don’t Phone, It’s Just For Fun plus more famous names and surprise guests popping by for games, music and chat.
The Big Breakfast is a Lifted Entertainment production as part of Channel 4's Black to Front project. The Executive Producer is Luke McFarlane and the Series Producer is Rina Dayalji.
The Big Breakfast airs Friday 10 September at 8am on Channel 4 and All 4
