Tasha Ghouri is a television personality, author and campaigner who has long championed disability inclusion and representation.

Tasha was born deaf and has worn a cochlear implant since the age of five. She describes being deaf as her “superpower” and has written two books about deafness, using her own experiences. Her debut novel, Hits Different, is a romantic fiction about a deaf girl who dreams of becoming a dancer, while her recent memoir, Your Superpower, reflects on Tasha's upbringing and celebrates all disabilities and differences.

In 2024, Tasha was a finalist on Strictly Come Dancing and, in 2022, was the first ever deaf person to appear on Love Island. 

She has since established herself as a prominent figure in the fashion industry, collaborating with both sustainable and high-end brands. In addition to her fashion endeavours, Tasha remains deeply committed to supporting causes that are close to her heart.

Tasha is an ambassador for the King’s Trust and was named in the Independent’s “Top 50 Influence List 2025”. 

She is also a proud Global Ambassador for DeafKidz International and actively supports charities such as RNID and NDCS.
