King Charles delivered a special message to the nation at 8pm this evening during Stand Up To Cancer on Channel 4, driving awareness of cancer screening and sharing the importance of early diagnosis.
Screening plays a vital role in detecting cancer early—when treatment is more likely to be successful—and, in some cases, can even prevent the disease from developing altogether.
The Screening Checker was launched as part of Stand Up To Cancer and is a simple, interactive tool designed to help people quickly check which NHS and PHA (Public Health Agency in Northern Ireland) cancer screening programmes they are eligible for, and access helpful advice on the screening process.

Stand Up To Cancer UK is a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4, bringing the nation together to accelerate life-saving research.
Since its UK launch in 2012, the campaign has raised over £113 million, funding 73 clinical trials and projects involving over 13,000 cancer patients nationwide.
