Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids renewed for two more series on More4

Leeds-based Wise Owl Films has been given a further double series order for Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids.

The Yorkshire Dales-based series has been More4’s highest rated show for three years and charts the journey of the Owen family – Amanda, Clive and their nine children – as they breathe life back into a derelict farmhouse, known as Anty John’s. Together they work alongside local builders and tradesmen to renovate the property, while daily farming (and family) life continues just across the moors at Ravenseat.

In series five and six, Wise Owl Films will continue to follow the Owens as their plans for Anty John’s press on and the building evolves from a house into a home.  

Meanwhile, Amanda discovers more of the history of Anty John’s and of one of its previous owners, Anthony Clarkson, the 19th century Swaledale mapmaker whose diary revelations will continue to draw fascinating parallels with the lives of the Owens some 200 years later.

Series five picks up where series four left off after Amanda and the girls’ first sleepover at Anty John’s and charts life with the Owens from early Summer 2026 through to Spring 2027. 

With all eleven Owens involved, the series follows Edith, Violet and their sisters as they open up the cream tea van at Ravenseat, while Sid and Miles continue to take on more farming duties – all amidst the ever-present backdrop of the changing seasons in Swaledale for Amanda, Clive and their family.

Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids is a 10x60’ commission for More4, airing as two 5x60’ series. It was commissioned for More4 by Jayne Stanger, Senior Commissioning Editor, Lifestyle, with Jo Street, Director of Commissioning, Nations & Regions and Head of Lifestyle. The series is made by Wise Owl Films, the team behind More4’s Amanda Owen’s Farming Lives, and is series produced by Clare Smithies with Mark Robinson as Executive Producer and James Knight as Creative Director.
