Why do you want to take part in The Hunt: Prey vs Predator?

I really love strategic social reality games and have always wanted to have a go. So here I am.

Tell us a bit about yourself and what you’ll bring to this game.

I am a 50-year-old 10-year-old, maybe a bit of Peter Pan syndrome. I have lived and worked in Northern Ireland nearly all of my life and I’m a dad. My family are great and maybe this is a midlife crisis, but it looks good fun. I understand a lot about gameplay and strategy, so I’ll bring that to the game. And I've been a forester my whole life, so I'm very used to an outdoor, woodland environment. So that may or may not give me advantage.

What are you like when playing games with friends and family? Would you say you’re competitive?

Extremely but I'm a good loser and if I lose, I don't mind.

How do you think you’ll fare better, as predator or prey?

For some reason I see myself as prey and being hunted, which would be exciting, wouldn't it?

Are you a team player? Do you think you’ll be good at building alliances and coming up with strategies?

Yes, definitely. I believe everybody in the world has got something to offer and it's usually something different, so it doesn't really matter what age, size, weight or gender, everyone's got something to offer to a team.

If you were the ultimate winner, what would you spend your winnings on?

I’d do boring things like buy a camper van and pay off my mortgage. I’d give money every month to environmental charities, so I'd probably give some to an ocean cleanup project. I'm a huge environmentalist and an ecologist, and have a real passion for how small changes help the bigger picture.

Stream or watch The Hunt: Prey vs Predator on Channel 4, Sunday 22 March at 9pm.
