Why do you want to take part in The Hunt: Prey vs Predator?
It sounds like so much fun, who didn't love hide and seek when they were a kid? I can't believe I’m sitting here about to start playing, I can't wait to see what’s in store.
Tell us a bit about yourself and what you’ll bring to this game.
I’m 27. I was a bus driver for seven years, so I think I have a good sense of direction and now I work for an accident repair centre as a customer journey specialist. I’m a friendly, fun, bubbly person and I like to make people laugh. I never take life too seriously, and I think I will bring the fun element into the game.
What are you like when playing games with friends and family? Would you say you’re competitive?
When I do play a game, I play to win. I’d say I’m competitive, but I am not a sore loser. I will just play again until I finally win.
How do you think you’ll fare better, as predator or prey?
I can probably do both. If you’re prey, you have to hide and I would say that I'm really good at hiding and I feel like I could get away if I needed to. I live near forests and I go for dog walks there, so I know those sorts of surroundings. I know if there's dried leaves, try not to step on them because they'll make loads of noise. If you’re a predator you've got to try and find people and that is high adrenaline, which I think I’d like. I like hiding but then I also like the thrill of trying to find someone as well, so I don’t know which I’d prefer. Though I’m not the best runner. I haven’t needed to run in a while so who knows if I’ve still got some pace in me.
Are you a team player? Do you think you’ll be good at building alliances and coming up with strategies?
I am a team player, 100%, but if I need to do something on my own, I can do it. I always say that two heads are better than one, so I’ll try and get along with everybody.
If you were the ultimate winner, what would you spend your winnings on?
I’m not going into it thinking I might win, because if I’m completely honest I probably won’t. I don’t have much speed behind me, so I'm not doing this for the money. I'm going in with nothing and if I leave with nothing, that's absolutely fine. But if by some miracle I ended up winning, which I highly doubt, I’ve just bought my first house with my partner, Nicole. We’re doing some renovations, so it would be great for that. I’d love to travel the world for a couple of months and not worry about bills at home. I’m also hoping that one day Nicole proposes to me and we can have the best wedding. Something we’ve always talked about.
