It's a really fun experience and the people are lovely. I've done a couple of dating shows now, and this one's very different. This one's actually about helping you and diving into you as a person and dating, not you and your relationship or how you are with this one person that you've just met and you have to spend your time with for three weeks. This is diving into you and what's happening.
Do you think we’ll see a different side to you than perhaps we saw on Too Hot To Handle?
Yeah, you will because I feel like the agent’s actual job is to go quite deep. So I think maybe it'll be a good thing for me. I don't like going deep, so probably a bad thing but maybe a good thing for other people to see that side of me that I don't like to show normally.
How would you describe your love life?
How would I describe my love life in the last six months? Active would be the word! Maybe active but settled at the same time because I don't really do one night stands anymore and stuff like that. I'm more like actually just vibe off a person and then spend more time with them. But it's definitely been active in that sense.
Are you looking to settle down?
Maybe, I feel like my thing now is to be able to build something where I can look after my family. So I'm not too worried about girls because if you focus on multiple women, you'll lose money, but if you focus on one, you'll build money. So maybe I should be in a relationship because I'm only focusing on one right now and that's my mum. She's the key woman in my life.
What is your relationship past?
I've had three girlfriends in the past but then a lot other situationships or like I'll have like two situationships at a time. But I also tell them, one thing I've worked on in the past year is just being truthful when dating. I'll be like, listen, we're not going to be together because I'm not in a situation where I want to be where I want to have someone like locked down. And I don't feel like it will benefit me but I'd love to still be with you. But if I do do something, then I'll let you know if you want to know.
Do you have a type?
I actually do. I don't think they've been on the show yet, for sure. And that's another thing. Like obviously I want to date and I like flirting, I like having fun. But I also don't want to settle just because that's what's given to me and that's why I haven't dated from the shows that I've been on. I'm not settling if I don't think you're the woman I can take home to my mum and spend quality time with.
What gives you the ick?
Bad hygiene. A lot of women have bad breath. I brush my teeth four times a day. I don't understand it. I don't like girls that are standoffish. I feel like if you don't let me know, what’s the point? Because I have so many girls who let me know. So I can't really tell the difference anymore of, like, flirting, or you being standoffish so you have to let me know and then you can be standoffish because if you don't let me know, I will just ignore you. It's so bad. I think I've let down so many beautiful potential wives because they've acted bougie and I've been like, ‘oh, she don't like me. I'm not talking to her.’ I don't like a chase but I don't like easy, there's a difference. You don't have to be easy, but you don't have to make me chase. I want you to just vibe. And just be normal. Like we're friends. And then the sexual romantic side, you can make me chase that.
Do you get any famous women sliding into your DMs?
Yeah, I get a lot of foreign celebs that I didn’t even know were famous. I had a Spanish singer, but I can’t remember her name. Beautiful girl, though. I miss a lot of DMs, which is my thing. Maybe I should start paying attention! The one celeb I would slide into their DMs is Tyla I would quit everything and make a life for that woman.
What are you like on a date?
I mean, if the date's bad, I'll get really pissed. But if the date's good, then I won't need to drink too much just because it's fun and it's the vibe. But normally on dates, like in real life, I feel like it's so different here. They say, oh, just be yourself. And it's so hard because I don't like being on set, you have to talk to her and you've only got 45 minutes. I like it when there’s a vibe and you can just go somewhere else and carry on with the vibe.
Do you want to get married one day?
I don't ever want to get married. That is one of the fucking most scary things ever. I just don't see it ever happening. I've never given anyone the chance to do me wrong, my guard is really up.
