Why did you apply to take part in The Inheritance?
I'm naturally a very competitive person. TV is always something I've been interested in and to be on a show where I'm only required to be my authentic self fits me like a glove.
Tell us a bit more about yourself and what you think you might bring to the game.
I'm a Gemini. We're known for being quite two faced, but I feel that is wildly incorrect. It’s not that we're two faced, but I feel like we're adaptable in all situations. I'm going to bring that skill with me, being adaptable. I'm very authentic. I can't help but be myself. I'm extremely expressive, which can be like a power card, because I can comfortably and confidently state my case.
Would you call yourself a team player?
I'm a fair player. I would say I'm very fair depending on the circumstances. A team player, yes, but every man/woman for his or herself, at the same time. I’m a team player but I also want to win! There might be a team, but there's a leader of that team, and that's where you’ll find me.
What are you like when you're playing games with friends and family? Are you competitive?
I'm very, very competitive and I like to win. The feeling of winning, success and achievement is the best feeling. I want to fight to achieve in every game and be proud of myself.
How are your powers of persuasion? Are you good at winning people over to your way of thinking?
I'm naturally a people person. My ideas can sometimes be a little bit outlandish, so not everybody is for it, but when they start to see the results, they're normally swayed. I feel like once you build your reputation of having good ideas or those ideas having a good result, people will start to trust you more.
If you do succeed and walk away with a large amount of money, what do you plan to spend it on?
WHEN I do succeed and walk away with a large amount of money!
I want to start a family business. We don't really have a lot of money. We're okay, but we're just living pay cheque to pay cheque, and I don't want that for us anymore. I'm trying to start some generational wealth. I’d like us to work together as a family to really put back into the community too and create something that makes a big difference to people’s lives. My mum is a youth worker, she does fostering. My sister is going to be a social worker by the end of the year. My auntie has been a social worker for over two decades. I've got a whole team around me of able people that could come together and create something great.
