Kate Winslet

Academy Award® winning actress Kate Winslet has brought to life some of cinema’s most captivating and memorable roles. Her resumé consists of critically and commercially acclaimed works which solidify her place in cinema history. Throughout her career, Winslet has received a span of awards, including the Academy Award® for Best Actress in 2008 after a stunning past five nominations, as well as three BAFTA awards, two Primetime Emmys, five Golden Globes, a Grammy and numerous additional awards and nominations.

Her notable early films include Heavenly Creatures (1994), Sense and Sensibility (1995), and Hamlet (1996). In 1997 she became an international star with the release of Titanic, which set a number of box-office records. Winslet received her second Academy Award® nomination for this role and the honour of being the youngest actress ever to be nominated for two Academy Awards®. Winslet has since starred in a series of subsequent roles, including in Iris (2001), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), Finding Neverland (2004), Little Children (2006), The Holiday (2006), The Reader (2008), Divergent (2014), Labor Day (2014), A Little Chaos (2015), Steve Jobs (2015), Blackbird (2019) and Ammonite (2021).

She will soon be seen in Lee, on which she is also a producer, and in James Cameron’s highly anticipated sequel Avatar: The Way of Water. Her television credits include the miniseries Mildred Pierce (2011) and limited series Mare of Easttown, on which she was also an executive producer, in 2021.

Next year Kate is Co-producing and starring in two HBO projects – The Palace and Trust.

In 2013, Winslet was awarded the CBE, and she was also awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in March 2014, cementing her status amongst the stars of Hollywood.

Mia Threapleton

Mia Threapleton is an exciting up and coming actress whose body of work has included a variety of esteemed projects in film and television.

Mia’s feature debut was in Alan Rickman’s critically acclaimed period drama A Little Chaos (2014) where she appeared as ‘Helene’, alongside a prestigious cast.

In 2020, she starred in Carlo Lavagna’s supernatural thriller Shadows playing the part of ‘Alma’, an adolescent living in the wilderness with her mother (Saskia Reeves) who uncovers a dark secret about the woods around them. Following this, Mia joined the dynamic cast of Starz’ exciting adaptation of Dangerous Liaisons (2022) where she portrays ‘Rose’ in the TV mini-series, together with Alice Englert, Lesley Manville and Kosar Ali.

It has also been announced that Mia will star in the highly anticipated The Buccaneers for Apple TV+. Based on the novel of the same name, the forthcoming series is set in 19th century London and follows a group of young women during their search for romance in the debutante season.
