Cruise ship entertainer from Yorkshire

What do you do for work?
I work on a cruise ship. Which is crazy because it's like living in your own little bubble. I am an entertainment host, so my duties would include grabbing someone's grandad and doing a dance with them. Being a DJ and just generally getting along with people. I've travelled all over the world. I've done the Caribbean, I've done Greece, Turkey, just everywhere. It's been an amazing experience. But I am looking now to finish cruising and maybe settle down. I've been all over the world, but I haven't been to Truetopia.

What about your hobbies?
I've always had horses, so they’ve always been a big part of my life. I've got an amazing one, Alfie, now. I've always been up and out riding, but I did have a period where I was out partying. Growing up, I was a bit of a party girl. Maybe not going for the right kind of guys. But those days are over now.

What’s changed?
I'm not a party girl anymore. I'm retired. Nowadays, I'm often just at the gym, at the stable yard, meditating, getting in touch with the universe. I don't drink. I can obviously have a little dance. I do my pole dancing. I started that two years ago – it’s really good for my flexibility and feeling like a sexy lady.

How would your exes describe you?
My exes would describe me as probably quite high maintenance. A little princess, basically. That's what I'm used to.

What’s your relationship history been like?
I've had quite a few relationships. A few dalliances and obviously situationships. My first relationship was with a farmer, and he'd ask me to go and sit in a combine. And I was like, “babe, I'm not a combine girl”. He was there with the dubstep in the combine, and I was like, “get me out of here!”. It was awful, I hated it.

How long have you been single?
I've been single about eight months now. I quite like being single. I'm quite independent, but I think it's time to meet someone properly, I feel ready.

My last relationship was with a fellow shipmate on a ship. He wanted us to get married, settle down and run off into the sunset, and I didn't want to do that. He treated me like a princess, but in reality, he wasn't for me. I think I got in that relationship because we were on the ships together, so you can't go out and meet people. It was more like we were just on there together and we got along.

How do you normally meet dates?
I'm not a dating app girly. I'd just be confused by it. If I fancy someone, I'd probably tell him. I've just been a bit unbothered by dating really.

You mention spirituality – What does that involve for you?
Spirituality is important to me. It's important to be in touch with the universe and showing gratitude. Once you start putting things out there and you start being a good person stuff comes to you. The universe is always there to help you. I am a crystal girl. I've got my crystals on me in Truetopia. They’ll be coming with me in my bra.

How would your friends describe you?
My friends would describe me as confident, witty, quite laid back, relaxed and entertaining. They’d say I’m the friend who’s randomly kayaking on a Tuesday at 10am.

What are you hoping to get from the experiment?
I would love to have a really fun time, meet some lovely people, and hopefully meet the man of my dreams who ticks all the boxes and really likes me.

Have you been in love before?
I don't think I've been in love yet. I think I've been in lust. I would like to experience that. I look at some of my friends and think, “I'm so happy for you and you're in a great relationship and you bring out the best in each other”. I would like to experience that because they just look so happy and it looks lovely.

What type of person are you hoping to meet?
I would love somebody who is spiritual as well. Somebody who is confident and in touch with a bit of femininity. Someone who looked like Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean. That would be a huge bonus!

It would be great if they also like animals. I would love somebody who wants to go on adventures. He wants to get up and walk up a mountain and see the sunrise. I would love somebody who just liked being outdoors, doing fun things and creating memories.

What physical traits would you look for?
I would like someone with lovely long hair. Just a really hairy man with lovely eyes and a lovely physique. I'm not that picky. Personality goes first. But I do like that type a lot.

Do you have any red flags?
A big red flag for me is impoliteness. Things like if they don't say thank you to the waiter. Also somebody who's too much of a lad.

What about turn ons?
My turn on is if they smell lovely. Who doesn't appreciate a good perfume? I'm not a fan of Dior Sauvage, though. It brings back some memories, as it does with many girls. It just takes you back to being 18 and being picked up in a Corsa!

Turn on would be somebody who compliments me, but I also quite like it when he compliments others. Someone who is respectful to all people. I love people who do that – people who bring others up rather than dragging them down.

Do you think honesty is key to a good relationship?
Honesty is quite important to me. It’s fundamental for a relationship. If you can't be honest and you can't be transparent, how can you be together? Sometimes you have to leave ego aside and be truthful and honest. It’s the best way to start a relationship.

What do you think about white lies?
White lies are okay in a relationship. You've got to think of the other person. If you're lying about something really insignificant, that would maybe hurt them, sometimes that's okay.

Would you say you’re a trusting person?
I'm absolutely not trusting at all. Sometimes you can be fooled and it hurts. I have a massive bubble around me and I'm quite guarded. On the ships, I’m used to being around loads of different dynamics of people. You've got to navigate around situations and make sure people have good intentions.

How are you at spotting liars?
I'm really good at spotting a liar. I studied a lot of body language. I get people to open up to me, so people always tell me their secrets, which is handy. You can often figure out by body language how they're feeling towards you or if they're being honest.

Do you think your spiritual side will help?
Spirituality will help me because I often listen to my gut. But I've also got to be practical. I've got to incorporate both my spirituality and my practicality to find liars. I’m sure there are going to be a few in there.

What makes you think there’ll be liars?
I'm feeling confident that there’ll be liars in the process because we’ll have The Honesty Box, so the liars are going to be exposed. It's going to be drama and chaos.

Have you ever been caught out in a lie in a relationship?
My ex-partner had come back in and I was pretending I was asleep with an eye mask on, because I couldn’t be arsed to talk to him. But I did this for about four nights running, and he did figure out that I was awake and just unresponsive. The relationship didn’t last very long after that.

What’s the most elaborate lie you’ve ever told?
I'm quite an honest person, but sometimes on a night out I love to have a little random lie. I'm never going to see these people again. And sometimes it's just really funny, innit? One time I told everyone that I was Gemma Collins’ cousin and I told all these elaborate stories about me and Gemma. I mean, what an icon, what a great person to have as your cousin. Whoever Gemma's cousin is.

Do you have a tell when you’re lying?
When I lie, I go bright red. I'm not very subtle at hiding it.

Have you ever blagged your way into an amazing experience?
I am quite good at blagging myself into places and experiences. In the Caribbean, on the cruise ships. I'd just randomly get into a five-star resort in Saint Lucia because I just walked in. I'm not really afraid. I've had some brilliant times. Life’s short and try and make the most of it.
