What made you want to take part in this experiment?
I’m looking for a nice girl and it’ll be a fun experience.

How long have you been single?
I've been single now for around about eight months. A little bit of dating here and there, but nothing serious.

What would you say are your worst traits?
I like to have my own way. I'm a little bit of a perfectionist. If something's not clean, then I don't really like that.

Describe your perfect match?
My perfect girl is someone who’s into the gym. Dark hair, nice eyes. Someone that has good manners. Good morals and values.

What are your turn-offs?
My biggest turn off is someone who isn’t hygienic. Also someone who is disrespectful or rude to the waiter on a date. And someone who has dirty trainers.

Are you honest in relationships?
I have cheated in the past. I cheated on my last partner. It started off as a kiss and escalated to sex. I didn’t confess to it, and then she looked at my phone and saw it all. After I cheated, the relationship went downhill and that’s why we’re not together anymore. I cheated three or four times when I was a lot younger, but I would say I’m changed man now. I’ve grown up and I’m looking for something proper.

Are you a relationships guy?
I would say that I'm very much a relationship guy. I love being in a relationship and having someone to cuddle at night. I like being in a relationship because I like to show my affection to somebody and have somebody to share memories with. Somebody to care for.

Would you say you make a good boyfriend?
I would describe myself as being a good boyfriend. I like to get my own way a little bit, but I do treat my woman with a lot of affection and respect.

Are you a trusting person?
I feel I'm very trusting. Unless you give me a reason not to be. I go into a relationship very open and very trusting in the other person. So unless they give me a reason not to be, then I'll be trusting at all times.

How would your friends describe you?
My best friends would say I’m a lady-killer. I don’t know why. I like to chill on the sofa cuddled up with a cup of tea!

What would you say are people’s first impressions of you?
B.F.G. - Big Friendly Giant. I think my first impression is very chilled and calm. Sometimes people misread me as being a bad boy - maybe it's the tattoos – but I feel I'm a good boy.

How do you spot a liar?
I would spot a liar from body language and the way they talk to me. Not giving eye contact.

What is your tell that gives away when your lying?
For me, what would give me away is my awkward smile. I don’t think I’m a good liar because my smile gives me away.

Are you going in with any strategy?
I’m not going into this to play a game. I’m going in being open. Whatever comes in front of me, I’m open to it. I don't know how things are going to play out, so I don't really know whether I'm going to be able to trick the Honesty Box or whether it's going to catch me out if I do lie.

What behaviour would make you suspicious in Truetopia?
I’m suspicious of someone who is trying to play a game. I feel like I would be a very good judge on that and be able to read it.

Who would play you in the film of your life?
Will Smith, because he’s very cool. My love interest would be played by Michelle Keegan.

What’s the best experience you’ve blagged your way into?
Probably this!

How would you normally meet a date?
I would meet a girl maybe going out or mutual friends. I prefer it that way rather than dating apps. When I'm out in the club, I don't really approach girls. But if the girl gives me a certain look, then I will approach. But usually, she would come over and maybe like, stand at the bar next to me, and usually that's an indication that she wants to talk.

Are you a good judge of character?
Yeah, I will get a good view of someone within 10 or 15 minutes. I would say I could spend a few hours with a girl and know whether I fancy her or not.

Do you think looks are important in dating?
Looks are very important but energy and vibes are important too.
