Hollyoaks scoops the Big One!!

Yeah. Wooooh! Go, Hollyoaks! Go annoyingly attractive and talented young people. Congratulations to all concerned with Hollyoaks, which scooped the top prize at this year’s British Soap Awards. The Best Soap Award is the big one, after all. The one everyone wants. To put it into a context to help you understand, it’s like winning Best Cordless Ride-on Diesel Hovermo at the British Lawnmower Championships.

In addition to the coveted Best Soap award, the first time Hollyoaks has ever won the accolade, Anna Passey won Villain of the Year, Danny Mac was awarded Sexiest Male (for the second year running) and Ellis Hollins was the very deserving winner of Best Young Performance.
