This Saturday, DUST Launches Raft of Original Sci-Fi Films On U.K. Streaming Service, All 4

Gunpowder & Sky announced today that DUST, the leading sci-fi brand, is broadening its reach by launching this Saturday, May 2 on Channel 4’s on-demand service, All 4.

DUST presents an all-star line up of captivating original sci-fi films featuring some of the brightest talent in the genre including: 

  • Nine Minutes, starring Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians, Hustlers, “Fresh Off the Boat”). An experienced astronaut, Lilian, and her A.I. explore a newly discovered planet. After weeks of research, a malfunction during the return launch forces Lilian to choose between survival and completing the mission. 

  • Orbit Ever After, starring Thomas Brodie-Sangster (The Maze Runner). Love transcends all boundaries, even in space.

  • Jonah, starring Daniel Kaluuya (Queen & Slim, Get Out). Two friends, one giant fish and the photo that changed their world. 

  • The Candidate, featuring Meghan Markle. This is what happens when the dark thoughts in the back of our minds are given a voice and worse - power.

  • Zero, starring Bella Ramsey ("Game of Thrones"). A mysterious electro-magnetic pulse renders the world's technology useless. A young girl finds herself isolated and alone with only her father's strict set of rules to keep her alive.

DUST also recently released its second narrative podcast, “Flight 008”, which, in less than 15 days, climbed Apple’s “Top 50” Podcasts” charts and has held the #2 position on Apple’s “Top Fiction Podcasts” and “Top Science Fiction Podcasts” list for the past three weeks. DUST also just brought audiences the ultimate at-home experience with the first live stream premiere of filmmaker Neasa Hardiman’s critically-acclaimed Irish sci-fi/thriller, Sea Fever which made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. And, on April 13th, Quibi premiered ALTER’s “50 States of Fright”, an anthology series Executive Produced by Sam Raimi.
