E4 will air a new series with exclusive access to the lives of Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams as they make their debut into parenthood, it was announced today (Wednesday 14th November).
The three-part reality series, Spencer and Vogue: Adult(ish) (w/t), which has been commissioned from Rumpus Media and Money Group Entertainment, follows the joys and occasional struggles as Spencer and Vogue adapt to life with their new arrival - baby Theodore.
The couple, who married in June, welcomed baby Theodore into the world in September. This funny, frank and intimate series will cover the couple’s preparation for the new arrival, Vogue’s dramatic labour, and their domestic life as they adjust to juggling modern parenting alongside their hectic careers in the public spotlight.
Vogue Williams commented: "Spencer has wanted to work with me on something for some time now. He's been relentless. I thought the baby would suffice but apparently not."
Spencer Matthews added: "I'm delighted that E4 have given me the opportunity to have my own show. For legal reasons I am having to share this opportunity with my wife. I can say no more at this time."
Emily Hudd, Rumpus Media Joint MD, said “Spencer and Vogue have turned achieving life’s milestones into a competitive sport – in the last year alone they’ve managed to get engaged, get married, celebrate Spencer’s 30th and have a baby. This series is a funny, unfiltered celebration of the joy and the chaos that comes next. We’re really excited to be working with them and E4 on this series.”
Spencer and Vogue: Adult(ish) is produced by Rumpus and Money Group Entertainment. Emily Hudd is the Executive Producer and Jim Hickey is Series Editor. The series was ordered by Karl Warner for E4 and the commissioning editor is Sarah Dillistone.
