Channel 4 Sales has today unveiled the ten businesses shortlisted for its B Corp competition, which has returned for a second year in partnership with B Lab UK, the non-profit behind the UK B Corp movement.
The competition will see five of the shortlisted UK B Corporations (“B Corps”) win a share of £600,000 of free Channel 4 advertising airtime with B Lab UK, using the power of TV advertising to reach new audiences and grow their businesses, while supporting positive consumer behaviour change.
B Corps are companies that meet verified standards for social and environmental business practices. Spread across the UK, the shortlisted businesses are:
- Karma Drinks UK Limited – an ethical soft drinks company producing organic and Fairtrade fizzy drinks such as Karma Cola.
- SURI - a purpose-led oral care brand challenging a disposable category with premium electric toothbrushes designed for life.

Tom Patterson, Sustainability Lead at Channel 4 Sales, said:
“We had an incredibly strong response to the second iteration of our B Corp competition, and it’s been great to see just how many businesses across the UK are committed to doing things differently - and keen to harness the power of TV advertising.
“The shortlisted businesses stood out for the clarity of their ideas and how thoughtfully they’d considered the role advertising could play in their wider growth plans. We’re really looking forward to seeing those ideas develop as we move into the final stage.”
Rosalind Holley, Director of Communications & Marketing at B Lab UK, said:
“The breadth and depth of this year’s shortlist is reflective of how B Corps across the UK are using creativity to accelerate their impact and engage new audiences as they grow. We’re excited to see their concepts evolve in the next round as we continue to partner with Channel 4 to amplify the voices of businesses choosing a better way forward and to deepen understanding of the B Corp movement.”
The shortlisted businesses will take part in final stage pitches in June, where the winners will be chosen by a judging panel of expert industry leaders.
