Zuckerberg addresses Facebook staff on data scandal

Nowhere is the fallout of the data scandal felt more keenly than at Facebook headquarters. Mark Zuckerberg is due to speak to staff in California about his firm’s involvement.

The social media giant has seen billions wiped from its value after it emerged the personal details of up to 50 million users were used by Cambridge Analytica in a bid to influence elections around the world. Facebook is also facing a public backlash with a growing campaign urging users to delete their accounts.
