Zelenskyy’s surprise appearance at Arab League meeting

The United States is backing an international plan to train Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighter jets due to begin in the next few weeks.

Good timing for President Zelenskyy  who’s expected to join the world’s leading economic powers at the G7 in Japan.

Today he went to the Arab League summit in Jeddah, where his message to “take an honest look” at Russia’s war was directed at leaders including, for the first time in 12 years, Syria’s President Assad.
