Why historic injustices are causing vaccine hesitancy among ethnic minorities

It’s the escape route out of this endless cycle of lockdowns, but not everyone is equally enthusiastic about the Covid vaccine.

NHS England has now pledged to record the ethnicity data of people getting the jab, after warnings by health professionals that some people in ethnic minority communities are still reluctant.

One survey carried out last month found almost three quarters of Black Britons said they were unlikely, or very unlikely to take it up.
