Getting people back to work was a central plank of Boris Johnson’s plan for managing this pandemic. Before getting ill himself he had talked about an antibody test that was ‘as simple as a pregnancy test’.
Today the testing goal seems a long way away as the World Health Organisation questioned whether the tests could be relied on to prove whether someone is immune to the virus.
