Where did it go wrong for Theresa May?

The new Parliament will be the most diverse ever, with 51 MPs from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds. It will also have the most women MPs ever – a total of 208. But for one woman, it hasn’t been the best of campaigns. When Theresa May announced the election, she had a 20 point lead in the polls. By this morning, her hopes of a majority had vanished.
