What Trump’s Covid symptoms could mean for the US election

The White House has said President Trump is experiencing “mild symptoms” of coronavirus after he and the First Lady tested positive for the disease.

A month before the Presidential election they’ve both gone into quarantine – while a flurry of leading political figures who were in contact with Mr Trump have rushed to get tested – including his Democratic rival Joe Biden – who debated with him on stage this week – who said he had tested negative.
