What next for Wales and the Union as elections loom?

There has been a lot of focus on Scotland’s future in the Union. But in Wales, too, the pandemic has brought a new awareness about devolution and discussion about the nation’s place in the UK. Like Scotland, Wales will also go to the polls next month. Welsh Labour have been in power since the advent of devolution over 20 years ago. Some predict, with the Tories and Plaid Cymru hopeful of gains, Labour could end up relying on the support of the Welsh nationalists to form a government.
