Violence in Paris flares for the twenty-third weekend of protests

Yellow Vest protestors in Paris have set fire to vehicles and barricades – many declaring that rebuilding the fire damaged Notre Dame cathedral shouldn’t be the government’s only priority.

Police fired back tear gas and water cannon in an effort to curb the scuffles on the fringes of the mostly peaceful march.

Protestors against President Macron’s economic policies have now taken to the streets for the 23rd weekend running – as Harry Smith reports.
