Vigils held to remember El Paso shooting victims

He didn’t mention President Trump by name. But many have interpreted President Obama’s statement last night, in which he urged Americans to reject the language of hate from their leaders, as a rare public rebuke of his successor. It follows the attack by a white supremacist on a shopping centre in El Paso at the weekend. There, vigils have been held to remember the 22 victims of Saturday’s shooting.
