US Supreme Court delivers blow for climate action

Washington Correspondent

In another blow to Joe Biden’s administration, the Supreme Court has curtailed the Environmental Protection Agency’s ability to fight climate change.

In a decision released today, the highest court in the land ruled by a 6-3 majority to restrict the EPA’s authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from existing power plants.

The White House immediately struck back saying they would use their lawyers to study the opinion and find a way to move forward.
