US Senate and Trump agree to huge stimulus package to fight coronavirus

It’s the biggest rescue package in history: the US Senate has finally reached a deal with the White House on an unprecedented emergency bill worth almost $2 trillion to help businesses, workers and the health care system.

But coronavirus cases continue to spiral across the country – especially New York that has nearly half the country’s cases.

Governor Andrew Cuomo warned it was spreading “like a bullet train” through the state.
