US government insists drones spotted over New Jersey pose no threat

The US federal government has insisted that drones spotted in the night time skies of New Jersey pose no threat.

But their assurances seem to have done little to assuage public concern about the phenomenon, and that’s prompted interventions from politicians, ranging from local representatives to the President elect.
