US Covid cases surge amid concerns Thanksgiving could worsen spread

Coronavirus cases are surging across the United States – in numbers which are 79% higher than the average two weeks earlier. More restrictions are being hastily imposed from Oregon to New Mexico, with officials concerned that next week’s Thanksgiving holiday risks spreading infections still further. As for President Trump – he’s still tweeting his baseless claims about election fraud.
