2mUS-Canada winter storm: At least 26 dead and millions without power
Millions of people in the United States and Canada are spending their Christmas without power – in the grip of an intense winter storm.
Temperatures have plunged to as low as minus 45 Celsius, with heavy snow and strong winds – thanks to an extreme weather event known as a bomb cyclone.
Local media say at least 26 people have now died.
