3mUnited States ends funding for UN Palestinian refugee agency
Palestinian officials have denounced America’s decision to stop funding the UN agency which helps Palestinian refugees – saying it’s an attack on their rights.
A spokesman for the Palestinian president said the move would only “strengthen terrorism” in the region.
The US decision cuts $300 million in planned support for the UN Relief and Works Agency, which the Americans have described as “fundamentally flawed”.
