UN general assembly to vote on ‘immediate humanitarian ceasefire’ in Gaza

Ahead of a UN general assembly vote on a non-binding resolution demanding “an immediate humanitarian ceasefire” in Gaza – Israeli bombardments have hit the southern city of Rafah.

Sitting on the border with Egypt, the city has become home to tens of thousands who have been displaced from the north.
