Ukrainian rockstar travels the country protesting war with music

He’s one of Ukraine’s leading musicians and also a former politician, now turned activist.

Svyatoslav Vakarchuk is the lead vocalist of Okean Elzy, a big rock band in Ukraine.

He’s travelled across the country playing music to protest against the war and support the troops.

We went to meet him and he began by telling us about going to meet casualties in hospital.
