Ukraine war: Russia accuses Kyiv of drone strikes on Moscow

Russia’s wave of drone attacks against Ukraine continued overnight – killing at least four people across the country and sparking fires in residential buildings in Kyiv.

But while the Ukrainian capital has become grimly accustomed to the strikes, Moscow too was hit by eight drones, in the first attack of its kind since last year’s full-scale invasion.

The Ukrainian government said it wasn’t directly involved.
