Ukraine Russia: EU ministers visit Kyiv for ‘historic’ meeting over military aid

“We are bringing the European Union to where the heart of Europe is beating most strongly at the moment” – the word’s of Germany’s foreign minister in Kyiv today.

She was joined by other EU foreign ministers in a historic first meeting outside the bloc. It was meant as a show of unity but it comes as a pro Russian candidate has won an election in Slovakia and Ukraine war aid was removed from a US spending bill in order to ensure it passed.
