Ukraine: European leaders hold crunch talks over crisis

The diplomatic dance over Ukraine has ratcheted up again, with French President Emmanuel Macron flying to Moscow for talks with President Putin.

Germany’s chancellor Olaf Scholz also visited the White House to meet President Biden.

In Moscow the leaders sat either end of a very socially distanced table as Mr Macron set out his hopes of achieving a “useful response for Russia and the rest of Europe”.
